Amazon has announced that Amazon Prime Day 2022 will be held globally from July 12-13. The number of Amazon sites covered by this membership day reached 24, which is the largest in history. Third-party sellers from around the world, including Chinese sellers, will provide consumers with products and great deals covering various categories through Amazon Prime Day.

May 25, 2022: Amazon Style

Amazon announced the opening of its first brick-and-mortar clothing store “Amazon Style”, in the Los Angeles area of the United States, providing a high-tech shopping experience, which marked Amazon's ambitions in the clothing market. Instead of using Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods' cashierless "Just Walk Out" technology, Amazon Style opted for Amazon One's palm-recognition service.

May 5, 2022: Amazon ends digital downloads of Android shopping application

Amazon’s Android shopping app has stopped enabling consumers to download e-books and any other digital content. Books can be purchased through Amazon’ website or the Kindle app.
